The technology sector is abuzz with speculations and news regarding a grand comeback by Huawei, the Chinese technology giant. Despite the restrictions imposed on it in many countries, Huawei is on a product launching spree, as it seems from the newest developments. The company has unveiled a large-sized premium tablet, the MatePad Pro 13.2. The thin and stylish device comes with powerful hardware to challenge the supremacy of the iPad Pro 12.9 and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
The new MatePad Pro 13.2 is a flagship device by Huawei. The gorgeous 13.2-inch OLED display has 2,880 x 1,920 pixels resolution and supports 144 Hz refresh rate. Huawei has touted the display to be certified with Rheinland Global Eye Protection 3.0 and it also supports 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for reducing eye strain. The device supports the Huawei M-Pencil too. Even though it is large, the device weighs only 580 grams. Inside, there is a 38.89 Wh battery supporting 88 W charging.
Huawei has not used any SoC from Qualcomm or MediaTek but equipped the tablet with its in-house Kirin 9000s SoC. The device runs on HarmonyOS 4. There are 6 dual-channel speakers for media consumption without limitations. The device weighs only 580 grams. Inside, sits a 38.89 Wh battery supporting 88 W charging.
Huawei equips the new MatePad Pro 13.2 with a handy embedded trackpad. As for imaging, there is a 13 MP primary sensor and another 8 MP ultra-wide lens. The 16 MP front-facing sensor is also there. The device runs on HarmonyOS 4. In its home turf China, the device sells for roughly US$714. This is for the model with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage and there are other configuration options too.
