John Cena returned to action at Netflix RAW Premiere where he started his retirement tour. Last year, he made a surprise appearance at the Money in The Bank event where he announced that he would retire by the end of 2025. But he also made his visions clear at Netflix RAW Premiere that he wants to create history before retiring by winning the 17th World title.

He is presently continuing his retirement tour as he entered the men’s Royal Rumble match but failed to win. Now, he will enter the men’s Elimination Chamber at the Elimination Chamber event to get the opportunity to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.

How John Cena Should Have His 17th World Title Run – WWE Hall of Famer Shares Opinion

Cena is presently standing as the odds on favorite to win the men’s Elimination Chamber match and also challenge for the title at WrestleMania. But chances are low that he would win his 17th title at the Grandest Stage of Them All. WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley explained how Cena should win the 17th World title. Speaking on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Dudley shared his fairytale booking idea;

John Cena is a 16 times WWE World Champion

“When would be the most intriguing night of … whether he has one match left or 33 matches left? His last night. [His] Last night in the wrestling business. ‘This is it. I’m done. My career is over, and this is the last chance I’m ever going to get to wrestle in front of people, and my last chance to ever win a championship.’ You want to build something? ‘The last night ever,’ ‘John Cena’s last chance’ — word it however you want, and on that night he wins the championship.”

Dudley also gave his opinion on where John Cena should have his final match; “If it’s up to me, Boston Garden, Madison Square Garden, last night of your career, you win the championship.” Said the tag team legend.

Reports suggest that Cena will be active in WWE for the rest of the year, so predictions can be made that he will not be winning the title very soon, only to keep his retirement tour more exciting with an angle of having a quest for the 17th World title. Moreover, the fans can expect Cena to have an excellent retirement tour.
