It has been nearly 2 years since the unfortunate demise of the former three times WWE World Champion Bray Wyatt. He had been a consistent main event star of WWE and he was still projected for bigger success in the future. He returned to WWE in 2022 with a new character after a year long absence.
His new character was not as well received as his previous two characters but it was believed that WWE would take the needed time to build it as a proper character. The first wrestler to have a feud with him was "The Megastar" LA Knight and the duo even had a match at the Royal Rumble event of 2023.

This feud and the match was not very well received as it went down as one of the worst matches of 2023. It was only a one match feud and Wyatt moved away from this feud after Royal Rumble by starting a new rivalry with Bobby Lashley. It could have gone to WrestleMania 39 but Wyatt had to leave due to health issues and never returned.
Knight recently appeared on "Casual Conversations with The Classic" where he discussed this in famous match and also expressed his opinion on being the final opponent of Bray Wyatt. Here is what the former WWE United States champion had to say;

"He was just a good ass dude," Knight said. "I mean just coming in straight from the start, kind of allowing me the freedom to just kind of do what I needed to do to be me, while he's doing what he needed to do to be him. I don't know if he wanted me to talk about puppets and whatever else and spooky whatever, but I'm in there just saying whatever comes to mind."
LA Knight had a feud with Bray Wyatt following his main roster debut
"A lot of people maybe weren't super happy with the match, honestly I wasn't. I think the presentation of it was cool, I think the execution of it was a little "ehh," but some of that was a matter of us not having a whole lot of time, just because of how tight the show was."

This match was so bad that everybody believed LA Knight could have never deal with the damage it done. But Knight really did a fantastic job and went on to become one of the top stars of WWE in the following years. The promotion never had any big plans for him but managed to be a top mid card with his hard work. Presently he is one of the most over stars of WWE.
