Google Pixel Watch was an aspiring product of Google but it was a part of March 2025 Feature Drop. At last Google has unwind rich media control for their Pixel watch. The change will allow to do more media control by shuffling the queue and will be able to adjust the playback speed and more. In Pixel Watch Find My Phone option is also getting some twist.
Google confirm the changes as such
- “ Make it easier to control audio content from the watch with control types based on content being played (such as Podcast within YouTube music).”
- “ Manage your favourite audio content with new actions on Pixel watch to fast forward and rewind, adjust playback speed or control playback queue.”
Changes in Music Playing Option in Google Pixel Watch
At first version of Google Pixel Watch system media player just allow you to play / pause, previous / next and volume adjustment . but this new upgrade can track the information about the music which is playing on the mobile.
Also you could see the next queue by tapping the left button. There is a option that shows the next 24 songs in YouTube music and can start the music by tapping a button.
A three dot option is there which lets you thumbs up, shuffle and repeat the song. And you can change speed by each tapping in YouTube media podcast .
The Most Interesting And Useful Feature Find My Phone Gets An Extra Mileage
Almost most of us try to find our phone as we cannot remember where we last keep our phone carelessly carefully. So I think this find my phone option is the most necessary option. You can use this option from the quick Settings panel to ring the paired phone. Google has added a little twist in this option that asks for a confirmation.
Previously you could be able to find your phone by just tapping the tile and the phone started to ring. But now it asks for a confirmation and you must tap the checkmark to enable the action. This twist is for Google Pixel watch's all three generations.
