Google Gemini Introduced Memory Feature For Tapping Into Past Chat Just Like Chatgpt

Gemini AI was an instant chatbot option with no access to previous information or chat. Currently, a new memory feature has been introduced that can help to remember past chats and give responses based on the conversation or any specific topic discussed before to give more helpful responses.

Gemini Memory is capable of offering personalized responses based on previous chats

Google explained that users need not start over a chat and could query any prompt that Gemini will respond to by fetching and reinventing information, crafting it with past responses that can make it more personalized than before enhancing the experience of users.

There is a concern regarding the data usage and customisation of search results in Gemini that could actually sometimes give biased results for any sensitive question based on customers’ previous search data. However, the threat of personal data storage in AI to make them more convenient is considered a serious problem by some tech critics.

User has full control over information storage in Gemini memory feature

Privacy is prioritized by the company as users can select what type of information they want to store and there is full control of the users in it. They can review, delete, or set any duration for keeping their chat history after which data would be automatically deleted.
