‘The Champ’ John Cena announced that he would retire from wrestling in 2025. The venue for his retirement is not set yet but there are reports that he would stop working as a wrestler by the end of this year. He made this announcement last year at Money in the Bank event.
Cena appeared on the Netflix RAW Premiere to start his retirement tour where he announced his participation in the men’s Royal Rumble match. He expressed his desire to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship on the main event of WrestleMania 41.

There are strong reports that Cena is presently being considered to win the men’s Royal Rumble match and feature on the main event of WrestleMania 41 with ‘The American Nightmare.’ Reports also suggest that The Rock was planned for this match earlier, but once he failed to give date for the event, Cena is now considered as the alternate choice.

But plans in WWE keep on changing. Previously, there was a consideration for a potential John Cena vs. Logan Paul match at WrestleMania 41. Paul ignited the possibility of this match once again when he open talked about a potential match with Cena. In a recent behind-the-scenes video of WWE, Paul said;
“I think I would hurt John, to be honest with you. I get in the ring with him, it’d be an honor. But, man, I’m tired of beating up these legends, to be honest with you. I beat up on Roman, I beat up on Cody. If I gotta beat up on John, I’ll do it.”

Paul also made a shocking claim that he is ‘The New Boss’ over the Final Boss The Rock; “But I prefer a challenge, bro. We’re talking about Dwayne Johnson here, the Final Boss. I’m the New Boss. There’s a new man in town, bro, and his name’s Logan Paul. Like Triple H said, this is the era of Logan Paul. He said it at the beginning of the show. Some people were like, he said it’s the Netflix era, but he said it was the era of Logan Paul. Or he told me that’s what he was gonna say.”

Paul may not be liked by a large number of WWE fans but he never failed to deliver. Being a celebrity, Paul always gets special treatment even as a part timer. There is also reports that Paul may challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41. But the possibility of Paul vs. Cena is still cannot be denied.
