Doom; one of the longest running video gaming franchises is going to get its latest version on this May. It was announced in June 2024 that Doom will have a new sequel by the name Doom: The Dark Ages and it is likely to follow the storyline of the previous release of the series; Doom: Eternal which was released back in 2020.

Finally, the Doom fans are going to get a new part after five long years. The game is rumored to be released on multiple platforms. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and Microsoft Windows are already announced their own ports for this huge release, the latest rumors suggest that the game may get released on at least another platform.

The latest rumors suggest that the Switch gamers are finally going to get their own port for the upcoming installment of Doom. Both of the previous two parts of Doom after the reboot in 2016 were released on Switch. The latest part is not announced for Switch yet, but rumors suggest that Nintendo will get its own port, but only on Switch 2.
