Dominik Mysterio is the son of legendary professional wrestler Rey Mysterio and he is indeed one of the biggest attractions of WWE right now, for a different reason of course. He is one of the fewest wrestlers that fans love to hate. Every time the enters the arena the fans fill the whole stadium with negative reactions in unison.
But it cannot be denied that Dominik is one of the best heels in the wrestling world today. In the present generation, it is not really easy to get reactions according to gimmicks. Only a few wrestlers can manage that. Dominik is one of them who does it perfectly. He is supposed to get hate from the fans and he gets it.
Dominik Mysterio Questions The Fans and Claims He Does Not Deserve So Much Hate
Dominik also receives praise for maintaining kayfabe properly. Even on interviews, he remains in character most of the times. Recently, he appeared on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast where he expressed his frustration on getting so much heat from the fans. He said he never understood the reason he gets this heat;

“I mean, there’s really nothing to hate me for. I mean, you can find what you want. People saying ‘Oh, you know, you’re Rey Mysterio’s son.’ Who’s Rey Mysterio? I’m the greatest Mysterio of all time.” Said Dominik, who was pretty much in character even during this interview.

Dominik continued; “I really want to cement myself here as the greatest Mysterio of all time, because…you say the name Rey Mysterio, and all these accolades and thoughts come up. You think Dominik Mysterio, you think Dirty Dom. You think [of]…this kid who turned on his dad. But I’m going to make it to the next level, and I’m going to take the Mysterio name to places it’s never been before. And then we’ll go Hollywood.”
Dominik is presently active on Monday Night RAW and he is still working as a member of The Judgment Day faction. The 27 year old professional wrestler is reportedly one of the future projects of WWE who is planned to be pushed as a main event star. Unlike his father, he will always be remembered as one of the best heels ever.
