TNA Wrestling has been in existence since 2002 and after its introduction, it was the biggest rival promotion to WWE. It remained the second best promotion in the world of professional wrestling for a long time and it has always given strong competition to the mighty WWE during it early days.
It has produced some of the top stars in the world of professional wrestling like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Eric Young, and many other names. Top stars like Kurt Angle, Sting, Booker T, Kevin Nash, Mick Foley, and many other legends have worked in the promotion. It was a true competition to WWE at a point.

But with time, TNA's popularity faded and with many wrong decisions taken, the promotion could not remain as popular as it was previously. The present TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth who was famously known as Dolph Ziggler recently explained how TNA Wrestling could be will relevant to a wider audience once again. Speaking with Denise Salcedo, he said;

“I’m very fortunate that I can think of other things instead. The best part is I don’t, I don’t think titles or like, ‘I need to be in a program with this person,’ or ‘I need to be this champion for six months, none of that stuff. I just go, I love that I am contributing to a company, at the top, and helping other people out behind me.”

“I hope in 2025, I get fifty different opponents that I can also help make TNA that much better going into 2026. Like I said, it’s a very ambitious 2025 coming up for TNA, and we’ve got to deliver. We booked those buildings. We gotta put the butts in the seats, and I’m telling you, everyone at work is so damn excited to do it.”
Ziggler spent nearly two decades in WWE before leaving the promotion in September 2023. He joined TNA wrestling in January 2024 and he is definitely one of the biggest of the promotion right now. He is also holding the TNA World championship right now and we can expect him to lead the promotion to more success.
