This year WWE has come up with something new named the transfer window which is presented in a similar fashion to the transfer window of other Sports like football. This transfer window is nothing but a sudden draft were wrestlers are moving from brand to brand. Some of the wrestlers have already changed their brands.
One of the wrestlers that Recently changed his brand is former World Heavyweight champion Damian Priest. There were some drafts, or better said, transfers that did not make much sense. For example, Nia Jax moving RAW again was an absolute joke of a move. She started working on RAW following her return, then she moved to SmackDown last year, and once again she has moved to RAW in less than a year.
Damian Priest Gets Wishes From His "Best Friend" on His Transfer to Smackdown
There are also other reasons why Nia Jax changing brand at this point does not make any sense. Overall the transfer window had been a terrible idea and this is an example that Triple H is still not perfect and he makes awful mistakes in terms of bookings. There were, however, some wrestlers who needed to switch brands, but there was no emergency.
Damian Priest is a former World Heavyweight Champion
One of the wrestlers that needed to make a switch was the former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest who had been working on RAW for a long time and she did not have much to do in the red brand of the promotion anymore. So, his move to RAW is pretty much justified. His on screen best friend the present Women's World champion Rhea Ripley wrote on her X / Twitter regarding his switch to SmackDown;
Damian Priest was recently transferred to Smackdown
“From being strangers, to you becoming my best friend. Always being on the same brands from day one. Being inseparable travel and gym buddies. You have always been one my my biggest supporters ❤️ I don’t want to let you go… But I cannot wait to see the punishing you get up to. Te amo, my Terror Twin! @ArcherOfInfamy 💜”
Priest has done an excellent job on RAW and he won all the possible championships on the red brand of the promotion. It is time for him to conquer the blue brand of WWE. As of now, it looks like he will be treated as a main event star on SmackDown much like he was on RAW. He may have a great WrestleMania match too with some new and fresh opponent.
