WWE has recently introduced two more championships for the women’s division, one for each of their main brands; Women’s United States Championship and the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. This is the first time WWE introduced mid card titles for the main roster.
The inaugural Women’s IC title is scheduled to be crowned at the Netflix RAW premier and the Women’s US title on the other hand has already been crowned. Chelsea Green became the inaugural Women’s US Champion. Green has received massive praise from majority of the fans and pundits for her amazing work so far.
Cody Rhodes Shares Praise For Present Champion and Says Everyone Should Have Intend Like Her
The present Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes also shared massive praise for the inaugural Women’s US Champion. While speaking on the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast, Cody Rhodes said that every wrestler should have the intend to work like Green had. Here is what he had to say;
“If you come to WWE, here’s a girl named Chelsea Green. She just won the first-ever WWE Women’s US Title. She is somebody who, everything you ever give her, makes the most of it. It seems like the generation that’s coming, and I could be totally wrong, this could just be old-man speak, it doesn’t seem like they have that mindset.

“I always went into it thinking the biggest I could possibly be. I met a guy, this was during my time away from WWE when I left, I remember him saying to me and my wife in the car, because he was running his own promotion, he said, ‘I don’t know why everybody thinks so big.’

“In my mind, I’m like, connecting with Brandi (Rhodes) on a telepathic level. Like, ‘This guy sucks.’ Like, why wouldn’t we think big? Doesn’t mean we’re gonna hit big, but I’d rather go for it all, go all in. Go for it all, and then see where I land,” added the Undisputed WWE Champion.
Chelsea Green made her return to WWE as a surprise entrant in the women’s Royal Rumble match in 2022 and she got eliminated from the match in only 5 seconds time. From being a total jobber to the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion, the journey was massive. Maybe, we get to see her winning a World Championship in the future as well.
