CM Punk participated in the men's elimination chamber match last Saturday and he was quite impressive in this match. Despite his excellent effort in the match, he failed to win as John Cena eliminated him in the end to win the Chamber match. Seth Rollins hit the Stomp on Punk after getting eliminated and Cena capitalised on This Moment by eliminating Punk.
There had been concrete rumours that Punk was a big favourite to win the men's Elimination Chamber match. But nothing topped John Cena who remained the biggest odds on favourite to win the Chamber. John Cena has turned heel historically at the end of the event and there are big rumours that Cena may start a big feud with Punk after WrestleMania 41.

CM Punk To Possibly Face One of His Biggest Rivals Ever? And It is Not John Cena!
But even if this feud is booked, there is going to be one huge difference from their past feuds; this is the first time that John Cena will be a heel and CM Punk will be a babyface. The excitement of this potential upcoming feud is already reaching the sky. But there is another rival from the past that Punk may face soon and the Best in the World has also shown interest in it.
CM Punk and Jeff Hardy had been two of the biggest rivals of each other during the early PG Era of WWE
One of the biggest rivals of Punk's career apart from John Cena was Jeff Hardy. The duo had a fascinating rivalry during the early PG Era and it started to get the real heat after Punk cashed in his second Money in the Bank Ladder match on Hardy after winning it at WrestleMania 25. Speaking with The Daily Mail recently, Punk discussed a potential match with Hardy again who had been one of his biggest rivals ever. He said;

CM Punk cashed in his second Money in the Bank contract on Jeff Hardy to win the World Heavyweight Championship
“I think there's got to be a lot of bridges crossed. I'm all for giving people second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth chances. There are a lot of experiences I didn't enjoy so much, we don't have to get into it, but I just root for people to be free of whatever demons possess them. If he's coming back here, great, let's see what happens.”

Both of these wrestlers are in different promotions right now but it is very much possible as WWE and TNA Wrestling are working on a multi year partnership deal at this moment. So this match is very much possible, however, TNA is mostly working with NXT which is the developmental territory of WWE. But in the world of professional wrestling, we never say never.
