WWE is moving to Netflix this 2025 and the first episode of RAW of the New Year will be telecasted in Netflix. The promotion has a signed a $5 billion contract with the OTT platform this year to confirm this historic deal and this also benchmarked the OTT debut of WWE.
As of now, only RAW will be moving to Netflix and the rest of the shows like SmackDown, NXT, and the PLE events are all available on television. But one thing we can expect for the future is, all of these WWE shows will soon move to OTT just like Monday Night RAW. It can be Netflix or any other OTT platform like Amazon who gets the other shows.
CM Punk Shares His Excitement For RAW Netflix Debut And Explains Its Importance
CM Punk who in presently signed to Monday Night RAW has shared his views about WWE RAW moving to Netflix and revealed how much excited he is about this new movement. Punk himself is signed to Monday Night RAW so we can expect him to appear on Netflix every week on Monday. Here is what he said during the Netflix RAW Kickoff event;

“I think historically, if you look at the landscape of professional wrestling, when it was territories and they were packing stadiums, like Shea Stadium and all that other stuff, but nobody ever thought this is going to be on cable television and then we did it. We just had a successful Saturday Night’s Main Event at a sold-out Nassau Coliseum.

"I look at that as a similar turning point … These hardcore fans are the lifeblood of the business. And what being on network television in the 80s for Saturday Night’s Main Event did to make new hardcore fans and attract new people to WWE, I look at Netflix as the same thing.”
It has already been announced that CM Punk will go one on one with Seth Rollins on the Netflix RAW premier. Reports suggest that this match will be the main event of the historic night.
