Roman Reigns last appeared at the Royal Rumble event and he orchestrated a dominant performance. He entered the match as the entry no. 16 and survived for over 37 minutes. He also registered four eliminations in this match. He survived until the final six before getting eliminated by CM Punk along with his former best friend Seth Rollins.
After their elimination, Rollins and Reigns started fighting each other outside of the ring. Punk also got involved in this fight and ultimately, Rollins nailed Reigns with The Stomp and since this beatdown, Reigns has not appeared yet. But he will definitely appear soon since WrestleMania 41 is edging near.

But what would be the match that is planned for ‘The Head of the Table’ for this year’s WrestleMania? There are multiple rumors including a potential World title match too. WWE Hall of Famer John “Bradshaw” Layfield who is also known as JBL recently talked about the booking of Roman Reigns for WrestleMania 41. Speaking on the “Something To Wrestle With” podcast, he said;
“I would imagine — and I have no insight into anything. This is just pure armchair quarterback, which by the way, all these armchair quarterbacks have been wrong. And I think it’s great, not because they’re wrong but I love the fact they speculate just like I do. And I look at stuff and figure, ‘Where are they going from here, or what are they going to do?’

“It’s fun to do that. I think Roman’s going to be involved somewhere. And I don’t know if that is — maybe he’s the third person when Rock brought up the three fingers, maybe that’s the third person. Maybe he goes to the other side with Cody.
“I just — Roman is the missing piece here. And because the fact that he is so absent, I think it means that he’s going to be in this. I think if Roman’s on the TV show and he’s doing something with somebody else? I think maybe you can say maybe Roman’s going somewhere else. But the fact that Roman’s so absent, my opinion is he’s going to be in this.

“I hope he is, because now you’ve got a guy who’s headlined more WrestleManias than anybody with all these incredible stars. And Cody Rhodes, who has done a fantastic job the last couple of years. I don’t know how you get more star-studded than this.”
Tonight on RAW, Seth Rollins will meet CM Punk inside a Steel Cage. There are strong rumors that Roman Reigns may return during or after this match to begin his WrestleMania feud with either Seth Rollins or with Seth Rollins and CM Punk both. The strongest rumor at this moment is a one on one match between Rollins and Reigns or a triple threat match between Reigns, Rollins, and Punk at WrestleMania 41.
