The Celtic Warrior Sheamus has been active on the WWE roster for nearly two decades and he has been one the most valuable members of the WWE roster ever since becoming a part of the promotion. He has achieved a lot of success in the promotion, he won almost all the possible top championships and accomplishments.

Throughout his long WWE career, he had matches with some of the top stars of the promotion. He also had some huge rivalries. One of his biggest opponents in WWE was the former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler who is presently active in TNA wrestling under his real name Nic Nemeth.

The Celtic Warrior and Ziggler had countless matches together, and it can easily be said that the duo has excellent chemistry with each other. But in most cases, they fought in the weekly shows and not in the ppv events. Recently, Sheamus spoke on the “Masked Man Show” podcast where he expressed his desire to Dolph Ziggler again. He said;

Sheamus is a four times WWE World Champion

“Yeah, I loved working Ziggy (Nic Nemeth). Ziggy was great. I don’t think he he’s the fondest memories of working me, taking all those Brogue Kicks. I don’t think anyone took a finish as good as Ziggy. He’s great, dude. I knew him as well from FCW. Our history goes back all the way to 20 years ago.

"But definitely another person who put on a great performance all the time. Never the biggest, but when it came to storytelling, he was great. He was so much fun to work. Dolph is so easy. I think there’s a lot of opportunities now for some of that talent to come back over and create different stories, and it’d be fun, it’d be a good time.”

The Irish professional wrestler may had a lot of matches with Ziggler and Nic Nemeth, but the duo never had any proper rivalry. It will be fun to see the duo finally having an excellent rivalry, especially when both are in different promotions and the two promotions are working together in a partnership deal. A cross brand rivalry with a strong back history would be really delightful to see.
