John Cena participated in the men's Royal Rumble match this year but failed to win

“All I ever needed was a fair chance—not to go out there, try to handle my business with one person, and then get jumped from behind by someone else. I’ve listened to all the politicking and backstage backstabbing on RAW. It’s a minefield trying to tell the truth on your own.

“I’m not going to try to politic my way into the Elimination Chamber or use my stroke like Cena. I’m going to do it the right way—the Drew way. Work hard and beat two of the top contenders in WWE.
