The rivalry between Dominic Mysterio and the WWE Hall of Fame Rey Mysterio is one of the longest and consistent rivalries of the modern day professional wrestling. It is also one of the longest running father vs son rivalry in wrestling history. It may be going on for more than a couple of years, but the best part is, it never get boring.
It all started back in 2002 at the back in Clash at The Castle event. After the tag team match where Rey Mysterio and Edge took on the team of Finn Balor and Damian Priest, Dominik shocked the entire world and he turned on his own father. The first match between the Mysterios took place at WrestleMania 39 where the WWE Hall of Fame Rey Mysterio came out victorious. The feud did not have an official continuation after this but it never ended. The duo had multiple matches against each other on various occasions. Even at WrestleMania XL, the duo had a tag team match with two different wrestlers on their sides.

Ever since Dominik Mysterio turned heel at Clash at the Castle event of 2022, he never turned baby face and it does not look like he is turning face anytime soon. He has been doing an amazing job as a heel and he is already being considered as one of the best heels in wrestling history. But will this father - son feud ever end? Recently Dirty Dom spoke with "Sportskeeda WrestleBinge" where he revealed how he would forgive his father, but conditions applied. He said;

"No [if he will forgive his father]. But I have said it, if he wants to get on his knees and apologize, remove his mask, and declare me as the greatest Mysterio of all time, then sure I will gladly accept his apology. But until then I don't have a reason to," said the former NXT North American champion.
Dominik Mysterio deserves praise for maintaining his character everywhere he goes and even in the world of the internet, where generating reactions based on character is really difficult, Dominik is doing an amazing job and also generating so much heat. He is just the exact opposite of his father; Rey Mysterio had been one of the most belated babyfaces in wrestling history, and Dominik is a natural heel, one day, he can be considered one of the best heels ever.
