Mick Foley, who is often regarded as ‘The hardcore Legend’ of WWE had a short professional wrestling career. But even in a short wrestling career, he earned a lot of success and fame. He was one of the top stars of the famous WWE Attitude Era and his contributions to wrestling can never be forgotten.
One of the biggest signatures of Foley had been his hardcore wrestling style and every time he had a weapon in his hand, fans could expect some shocker. At first, he was mostly presented as a mid card, but there was one match that totally changed the perspective of the fans and the promotion totally, and it instantly established him as a main eventer.

At King of the Ring 1998, Foley went one on one with The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell which still remains one of the best matches in WWE history. Undertaker threw Foley from the top of the Cell and crashed directly on the announce table. This moment will always remain a classic. Mick Foley recently remembered this match while speaking with CasinoBeats. He claimed that this match should be given a special induction into the WWE Hall of Fame;

“I have to tell you I’ve never heard of that before. The NBA Hall of Fame does that?” I don’t know if it would be the first one in, but I think it would be a part of the first intake, I would like to think so at least. I think that Cell match is the only match in wrestling history that people celebrate the anniversary of.

This is not the only Hell in a Cell match that Foley is remembered for; he also had another Hell in a Cell match with Triple H in No Way Out 2000 which was also a classic, much like Shawn Michaels who is addressed as ‘Mr. WrestleMania’ for his amazing contributions at WrestleMania, Foley’s nickname ‘The Hardcore Legend’ pretty much justifies what he did in the Hardcore style matches.
