WrestleMania 41 is going to be the biggest wrestling show of 2025 and a lot of possibilities are already being speculated by the fans. One of the biggest question remained is the potential role of The Rock at the Grandest Stage of them all this year.
Last year, Dwayne featured on the main event of Night 1 in a tag team match where he teamed up with Roman Reigns to take on the team of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Dwayne pinned Cody Rhodes in this match and it sparked speculations of a future match of between this iconic duo.
Big Update on WrestleMania 41 Plans of The Rock
Since then, Dwayne has not had any match yet. Despite no confirmed reports, it is pretty much guaranteed that he will have a big match at WrestleMania 41. But what this big match would be? Recent reports from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggest that Dwayne’s WrestleMania 41 role is yet to be planned;

“Nobody had directly told us that Dwayne Johnson will be on the show [Raw on Netflix premiere], but I would think there’s a good shot of it. There is a belief he’s doing WrestleMania, although nobody knows what capacity and as noted, Cena vs. Rhodes is right now scheduled meaning the original plans for Rhodes vs. Rock are off. But whatever Rock wants to do will happen and plans will change if he wants them to.

“Whatever Rock is going to do, if he’ll have a prominent role, one would expect to be teased on 1/6 because with all the hype around that date, it’s expected that will be the largest audience for an episode of Raw this year, and maybe for years to come. WWE and Netflix have done a great job of hyping the change, and WWE historically in these situations does its biggest number on the new platform in the first week on that platform.”

There are also big rumors that Dwayne would be a part of Netflix RAW Premiere this Monday and his involvement in the show would provide a big lead on his potential role for WrestleMania 41. He is rumored for multiple big matches, we may even get to see the dream match between Roman Reigns and The Rock.
