Royal Rumble 2025 will always be remembered as one of the most shocking Rumble events in WWE history. The women’s Royal Rumble match was quite predictable and the majority of the fans were not much bothered about it but the men’s Rumble shocked the entire world with its completely unpredictable outcome.
The Rock had been the odds on favorite to win this year’s men’s Royal Rumble at first. But it was reported later that he would be out of the Rumble and WrestleMania since he had to do reshooting for his movie Moana. John Cena became the next odds on favorite and reports also suggested that Cena was winning the Rumble.
Big Revelation: When Did Jey Uso Get To Know That He is Winning The Royal Rumble Match
Recent reports also claimed that CM Punk also has a huge chance of winning the Rumble. But nobody ever expected Jey Uso could win the men’s Rumble match after all he went through last year. Jey recently spoke with Daniel Cormier where he was asked when he got to know that he would be winning the Rumble. He replied;
“I was humbled, man,” Jey admitted. “And I knew, as soon as they told me it was me, they told me like halfway during the day Saturday, man. Hey, we need the last four to come in here. I’m last four, I see who’s with me. Yeah, they let me know, man. And then I automatically went straight to my brothers and told them what it was.

“And I knew I liked it Uce because I knew not one person in that arena think it’s gonna be me. That’s the swerve I like. Just like on Monday Night RAW against Bron Breakker, one of the hottest upcoming superstars. He’s not gonna beat him on a Monday Night RAW, and they go crazy, man. Everybody went crazy. So that’s the emotion that I like to pump to the fans, man.

Jey Uso’s Rumble victory may had been quite shocking but a lot of fans were not happy about it as they still believe that Jey is nothing but a jobber, and even if he deserved to win, WWE never went through a proper build up for him. Jey is yet to declare which champion he would choose to face in WrestleMania 41 but as of now, all signs are indicating towards the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
