The split of the New Day had been one of the best and most emotional segments in the recent time period of WWE. The New Day is a faction of three wrestlers; Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods and for over a decade they had been one of the most entertaining factions in the world of wrestling. They achieved huge tag team success along with singles success too.
Unfortunately, E suffered a vicious injury prior to WrestleMania 38 and he could not return to action for the last three years. There are even reports that this injury may end his career forever. Last year, he made a shocking appearance in WWE during the ten year anniversary celebration of the New Day and it turned out to be one of the most surprising and emotional segments of 2024.
Big E Shares Honest Opinion on The New Direction of The New Day
E wanted to join the party with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods but they abandoned E on the spot and threw him out of the faction; turning heel in the process. E left the arena in tears after getting kicked out by his best friends. Recently, the former WWE World Champion shared his honest opinion on the present direction of the New Day and said the following while speaking with "X-Pod 97,"
Big E remained a member of The New Day for a decade
"In this industry you have to evolve. I'm really proud of what we've built, as a collective, (...) but now, for better or worse, the wrestling world is talking about those two again." Big E added that he thinks a fire has been ignited within both Woods and Kingston and expressed that he believes the two of them are now creating moments in wrestling again, like their on-screen heel turn. "I can't think of any other turn that went the way it did."

"I really feel like the community has rallied behind me in ways that are beyond humbling for me," said the former Champion. "I appreciate all the love, but the most part it's a lot of, in person, people telling me that Kofi and Woods can go to hell."
After the departure of Big E, The New Day had been a two men team and following the mentioned above segment, the team is playing a completely new gimmick; something they never played before. Majority of the fans are enjoying this character of this famous team. There are rumors that E may return to WWE soon to start a feud with The New Day.
