The sad news for the Alexa Bliss fans had been broke earlier today that ‘The 5 Feet of Fury’ is not returning to WWE anymore as her return has been postponed. The news was given by PWInsider which is one of the most trusted sources on wrestling.
“Alexa Bliss was set to return on the January 13th edition of RAW in San Jose with a storyline involving with the Wyatt Sicks faction.” PWInsider wrote, “However, before the show, the storyline was reportedly dropped and there is currently no creative work plans for Alexa Bliss. Things could change tho.”
Big Breaking: Real Reason Alexa Bliss is Not Coming Back to WWE Anytime Soon
More reports have been produced and this time it is the famous wrestling pundit Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that it was mainly contract issues much like PWInsider reported earlier. Here is what Meltzer had to say on the scrapped return plans of the former five times WWE Women’s Champion;
Alexa Bliss is a five times WWE Women's Champion
“The deal with Alexa Bliss is, she was supposed to be on the show in San Jose. They have not come to terms on a contract but she was going to debut – the thing is she was gonna debut with the Wyatt Sicks but the Wyatt Sicks have been moved to SmackDown so it kinda made no sense for her to be on Raw.
“She was expected to come back and they’re working out a contract deal, that’s where everything stands right now.” Concluded Dave Meltzer.
Bliss last appeared in WWE back in Royal Rumble 2023
Bliss’ last appearance in WWE dates back to Royal Rumble 2023 where she challenged Bianca Belair for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship. But she failed to win the title. She went on maternity leave after this match. After giving birth to a baby girl, Bliss was diagnosed with skin cancer. By November 2024, it was reported that she was completely fine and cleared to make her in ring return.

There were also rumors that Bliss would make her return at Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant in the women’s Royal Rumble match. The mentioned event is still one and a half weeks away so a settlement over the contract between the two sides can be expected. However, chances are very low. As of now, we can still expect her to return to WWE in the future.
