There are not enough names that Triple H has promoted for the main event since becoming the Head of Creative. It had been a constant allegation on The Cerebral Assassin that he only focused on already established stars and not on focusing on building new stars. But there are some names that he actually made top stars all by himself.

One such name is Jey Uso who is presently one of the biggest names in WWE right now. He shocked the entire world when he won the men’s Royal Rumble match earlier this month and earned the right to challenge a World Champion of his choice at WrestleMania 41. He decided to go for the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.

Big Breaking: Jey Uso Reveals The Contributions of Roman Reigns to His Success

Jey is extremely over with the fans right now and one of the biggest reasons behind his immense success is his catchphrase “Yeet!” Jey recently revealed that ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns was involved in the origin of his catchphrase. Speaking with Nightcap recently, ‘The Yeetman’ recently revealed the following;

Having won the WWE Tag Team titles 10 times in total, Jey Uso is a Tag Team expert

“If you really pay attention, like, my brothers, Roman, we’ve kind of been saying that from the jump.” Jey explained; “If you look at old promos or whatever, you’ll hear him. You know, it’s also West Coast slang. It’s been slang before ‘Yeet’ became a meme.

Jey Uso won the men’s Royal Rumble match of 2025

“Like, I’m a little older than the little homies who are like, ‘Oh, that’s just a meme, a catchphrase where you’re meeting people.’ But it’s been slang.” Jey continued, “The ‘T’ wasn’t even on there. It used to be ‘Ye,’ like, ‘ye e e e e e,’ you know? You said it a little too hard though, you gotta pull it back.”

Jey Uso may be over with the fans right now but not every fan wants him on the main event. Some fans still believe that he is only a mid card and nothing more than that. Jey has his huge WrestleMania match coming in only two weeks time to prove his critics wrong. Jey is also reportedly winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 which can be another shocker.
