The 9th match game of Barcelona Vs Osasuna that was set to be played at the Lluís Company's Olympic Stadium was suddenly postponed after the death of team doctor Carles Miñarro Garcia.

Barca stated the death of a 40-year-old first team doctor and posted, “FC Barcelona is deeply saddened to announce the passing of first-team doctor Carles Miñarro García this evening. For this reason, the match between FC Barcelona and CA Osasuna has been postponed to a later date.”

Joan Laporta Gave the News to Dressing Room After Line-Up announcement
The news came to public during warm up of Osasuna, after which Joan Laporta incormted the team regarding the sad demise of their team member in the locker room. Even after announcing the lineup, the match was called off for the day in respect of Carles Miñarro.

Barcelona players showed their condolence in their personal social handles after the team officially posted it. Barca defender Ronald Araújo wrote on X, “Unbelievable. Rest in peace Doc. Much strength to the family and friends. May God strengthen their hearts in this difficult time."
Minero was a part of Barca Family for eight straight years
Carles Minaro joined the first-team medical staff of the Spanish club last season. Until then, he worked with Barcelona’s futsal team from 2017 that ended last summer when the Spanish Doctor was included in the first team medical team.

Hansi Flick now has to wait to play their game until next notice to cement their place at the top of the table. Barca currently has 57 points in 26 games and holds first position with one and three points lead from Atletico and Real Madrid respectively.
