Giving Two Decisions On The Same Action Increased Controversy In The Match
Definitely, it caused rage in away players and other neutral football fans regarding neutral decision-making of the referee in a match that is very important in every aspect. Rayo Coach Perez ducked the penalty controversy question stating “If I say yes or no, the headline comes out on its own. I will not comment on any refereeing situation.”
Real Madrid already launched a formal complaint against referring to La liga and Alaves taking legal steps on the same issue. The rest of the team showed their support with the refereeing system but the tenure might be cut short if controversial decision-making happens in every game.
