Bukayo Saka is recovering from his hamstring injury and aiming to be in peak condition prior to the champions league showdown against Madrid that could bolster Arterta’s artillery for visiting Spain.

Arteta Is Confident Regarding The Return Of Bukayo Saka Prior To Face Real Madrid In The Champions League Quarter Finals In April

Saka picked up an injury last year and has not featured for Arsenal since December after his surgery. His absence, along with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havartz, became a key factor of Arsenal’s trailing in the Premier league. However, in the CL round of 16, Gunners scored 9 goals in two matches, which is contradictory to their league performance.

“Next we need to arrange it with people around him in a more competitive training session and see how he goes with that. He’s getting closer, he’s stepping up and making very good progress, I would say. So, let’s see when we start to throw him in with the team, how he reacts and how fit he can get quickly,” the Spanish coach added.
