Apple is all over the news again. Recently, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg shared that the old approach towards AI was not keeping the company as competitive as required in this era. If this happens, then it will have significant impact on Siri and other robot projects by the brand.

Apple to do it's Best to Change it's Approach Towards AI

 Apple Ai

Back in 2018 Apple hired John Giannandrea, the AI expert from Google. The aim was to bring all it's AI features like Siri, AI Bits, and the car project under the same roof.

Nevertheless, things didn't happen as easily and exactly as they planned for it, says Gurman. Apple Intelligence is it's proof. The rivals of the brand seemed to push the brand far behind with their systematic and advanced approach.

Apple has a New Roadmap

Want to know what the company is planning next. Read the article for details. The company's experts is planning to break it's central AI team of experts and walking back to it's usual structure. Teams will be kept separate as usual on basis of their requirements.

Siri will be developed by the main software team under the leadership of Craig Federighi. The robotics development will be taken care by John Ternus and histeam of engineering experts. This is not just resetting the structure but also their realisation that things weren't giving desired output.

Apple takes this massive change because the other AI giants are going wild with their AI functioning. Gemini by Google is everywhere for example in Search, Galaxy mobiles, Pixel phones and many more. Copilot by Microsoft pops up all over Windows knocking the people about it's superior functioning existence.

What Meta does is even more surprising. It is not just incorporating AI in it's apps but also in the Ray-Ban glares. This is more than enough for it to feel the pressure of AI competition in the market.

The core of the AI technology will be under the supervision of John Giannandrea as before. The main moto here is to develop the base model of Apple Intelligence, research and all other data studies. Although the focus is now limited to just developing the founding structure, while the other teams work to assemble those and activate them into functioning.

As the speculations say, the company might not want to replace John Giannandrea as he acts as the chief of this whole AI experiment.

Can this Big Step Make Apple the AI Giant?

You might have this question why is the brand doing so! Is it their smart move or it shows the brand's condition of struggle with AI. To think rationally, this is a very focused and a realistic approach made by the brand. A brand's main aim must always be consumer satisfaction and that's exactly what it is doing. They seem to be strongly wanting to give AI it's desired shape with perfect product functioning.

All we need to do now is to wait and see whether this works as planned by the brand or not. But it is a very appreciative move by the brand to accept that something needed to improve for a better and smoother experience that will help them compete in this high AI competitive market.
